The Yin to your Yang–our Yin Nidra classes will drop you beyond layers of tension without any muscular effort. Can you say “Ahhhh”? Held in a cool room, and supported by props, during the Yin practice you’ll find stretch in supported poses held for 3-5 minutes to release your connective tissue. We close with a Yoga Nidra practice–a guided meditation designed to help you find deep relaxation.
You’ll leave relaxed, energized, and peaceful. It’s the peanut butter to the jelly of powerful workouts like running, cycling (hello, PsycleFIT), bootcamp, and Power Vinyasa–basically any other workout program and the busy-ness of life.
What you need to prepare:
- Wear loose, cozy clothes, comfortable for a cool room.
- Bring a mat. If you don’t have a mat, you can rent one from us for $3.
- Leave shoes in the cubbies and bring an open mind.
- Set yourself up with blankets, blocks, bolsters, and straps.
- First time? Come 15 minutes early and we’ll get you all setup.
Yin/Nidra Etiquette:
- Leave your shoes at the door.
- Start your practice as you enter the studio by slowing down and keeping any sounds you make soft.
- Use an assisting chip to opt-in or out of hands-on assists.
- Choose a yoga mat over an exercise mat for better stickiness and balance.
- Late arrivals work up to 15 minutes past starting time–we’re glad you made it. Anything past might make it challenging to join an already warmed-up class.
- As always, before engaging in any exercise program or class, please ensure you have your physician’s approval.
- Please review the Pricing and Policies.
